Your Trusted Eyes on the Ground for Your Project

Independent site visits, progress monitoring, evidence and reporting when you cannot be there yourself.

BOWestAfrica Project Supervision — stay connected to your project from anywhere.

The Problem

Eyes on your project when you can't be there

Project Supervision gives diaspora members independent, structured monitoring of a project already underway — a build, a renovation, a farm, a facility — with regular, honest reporting back to you.

Distance creates a visibility gap

Your Trusted Eyes on the Ground

Distance should not mean sending money, trusting promises or making important decisions without knowing what is actually happening. BOWestAfrica helps diaspora members independently verify information, monitor projects and, where specifically agreed, coordinate local execution in West Africa.

  • We verify before you commit.
  • We monitor before you assume.
  • We document what is happening.
  • We report directly to you.
  • We coordinate only within an agreed scope.

Your money remains your decision. Your project remains your project. Our role is to help you see clearly, act with better information and stay connected to what is happening on the ground.

Supervision vs. Project Management

Project Management

We coordinate execution

Project Management actively coordinates planning, contractors, suppliers and delivery — a fuller, hands-on service for when you need structured local coordination.

  • Our team coordinates the agreed day-to-day activities
  • Planning, contractor and supplier coordination included
  • Best when you need defined local coordination under a written agreement

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How often will I receive updates?

Reporting frequency is agreed with you at the start — typically on a recurring schedule that fits your project.

Does your team manage the contractors directly?

Supervision monitors and reports — for direct coordination of contractors and local operations, see Project Management above.

Can supervision start mid-project?

Yes — a baseline visit brings us up to speed before regular supervision begins.

What is BOWestAfrica responsible for in Project Supervision?

Your project. Your contractors. Your decisions. Our independent eyes on the ground. BOWestAfrica visits, checks, documents and reports so you can compare what is happening on site with what you have been told.

What does “Your Trusted Eyes on the Ground” mean?

Your money remains your decision. Your project remains your project. Our role is to help you see clearly, act with better information and stay connected to what is happening on the ground. People living abroad often depend on calls, photos, relatives, contractors, suppliers or other third parties to understand what is happening locally. Information may be incomplete, delayed or different from what is happening on the ground. BOWestAfrica exists to close that visibility gap with independent checks, documentation and direct reporting.

When does a member pay for a service?

Active members submit first. BOWestAfrica reviews the request, applies the member discount, calculates applicable taxes and confirms the price before issuing a payment request. For members, payment completion makes the confirmed request ready for BOWestAfrica activation. Active service or project work starts only after that activation; a submitted or paid-but-not-activated request is not presented as active field work.

How does payment work for a non-member?

For a fixed-price public service, a non-member may be asked to pay at checkout before BOWestAfrica completes its operational review. The payment status is Payment Received — Pending BOWestAfrica Review until the request is accepted. If BOWestAfrica determines that it cannot provide a paid non-member request, the service payment is refunded in full. Once an accepted service has started, the normal cancellation and refund terms apply.

How are member service discounts applied?

Member service discount: Silver 5%, Gold 10%, Diamond 15% on eligible BOWestAfrica professional service fees only. Membership fees and third-party or project expenses are not discounted.

How are taxes calculated?

Applicable taxes are calculated through the checkout based on the transaction and billing information. BOWestAfrica does not automatically apply Québec taxes to every customer worldwide.

Does paying for a request mean field work has started?

For members, payment completion makes the confirmed request ready for BOWestAfrica activation. Active service or project work starts only after that activation; a submitted or paid-but-not-activated request is not presented as active field work.

Does BOWestAfrica hold my full project budget?

BOWestAfrica does not automatically hold or control the client’s full project budget. Whenever practical, clients pay verified suppliers or contractors directly. Any expense BOWestAfrica is specifically asked to handle must be authorized, documented and governed by the written agreement and appropriate legal, accounting and payment controls.

What costs are separate from the BOWestAfrica service fee?

Contractors, suppliers, materials, government charges, specialist fees, travel and other third-party or project expenses are separate unless a written scope expressly includes them.

Keep every request, project update and notification connected

Members submit from their dashboard and BOWestAfrica reviews the request before confirming the discounted service price and issuing payment. Visitors can still request services without membership; fixed-price public options may proceed to payment before BOWestAfrica completes its operational review.
