Pricing & Payment
Pricing, Payment & Member Benefits
One place to understand when you pay, how member savings apply and what remains separate from the BOWestAfrica service fee.
Active Members
Active members submit first. BOWestAfrica reviews the request, applies the member discount, calculates applicable taxes and confirms the price before issuing a payment request.
Member service discount: Silver 5%, Gold 10%, Diamond 15% on eligible BOWestAfrica professional service fees only. Membership fees and third-party or project expenses are not discounted.
Non-Members & Variable Pricing
For a fixed-price public service, a non-member may be asked to pay at checkout before BOWestAfrica completes its operational review. The payment status is Payment Received — Pending BOWestAfrica Review until the request is accepted.
Custom or variable-price services, including Project Management and any “From” pricing that requires scoping, are reviewed before the final price and payment request are issued.
Taxes & Refunds
Applicable taxes are calculated through the checkout based on the transaction and billing information. BOWestAfrica does not automatically apply Québec taxes to every customer worldwide.
If BOWestAfrica determines that it cannot provide a paid non-member request, the service payment is refunded in full. Once an accepted service has started, the normal cancellation and refund terms apply.
Project Costs & Client Funds
Contractors, suppliers, materials, government charges, specialist fees, travel and other third-party or project expenses are separate unless a written scope expressly includes them.
BOWestAfrica does not automatically hold or control the client’s full project budget. Whenever practical, clients pay verified suppliers or contractors directly. Any expense BOWestAfrica is specifically asked to handle must be authorized, documented and governed by the written agreement and appropriate legal, accounting and payment controls.

Do I need to be a BOWestAfrica member to request a service?
No. Members and non-members can request BOWestAfrica services. Active Silver, Gold and Diamond members receive their applicable 5%, 10% or 15% discount on eligible BOWestAfrica professional service fees and are reviewed before payment.
Can BOWestAfrica support a project that has already started?
Yes. Depending on the stage and scope, Project Supervision or Project Management may be appropriate. Submit a service request so the team can review your situation.
What information should I provide when requesting a service?
Share the service you need, location, current stage, relevant parties, timeline and any documents or context that will help us understand the request.
Does submitting a service request mean work starts immediately?
No. A request starts the review process. BOWestAfrica first confirms the scope, requirements, availability and next steps before work begins.
How will I receive updates and reports?
The reporting method depends on the service and agreed scope. BOWestAfrica is structured around documented activity, clear communication and direct reporting.
Can I request support while living outside West Africa?
Yes. BOWestAfrica is built to help diaspora members and clients coordinate decisions and projects with professional support on the ground.
What does Business Verification guarantee?
Business Verification provides independent information about the agreed facts that can or cannot be confirmed. It supports your decision-making but does not guarantee ownership, profitability, future performance or a particular business, investment or project outcome.
